Riverbend is a tense thriller laced with dark humor and raw
sex - a page-turner like you've never read before. Les Moore,
special serial killer task force leader whose wife and daughter
were murdered by the notoriously grisly Riverbend Killer,
returns from a self-imposed 3-year "hiatus" to pick up where he
left off. His only problem? Now, his boss (the ridiculously
incompetent Phil Brinkman) has saddled Les with a partner he
doesn't want: Cyndra Baker. She's a decade younger and
hungry for success. (She was second in her class at Quantico
and she's still pissed off about it.) Her job: to keep an eye on
Les, make sure he follows the book and does whatever Phil
Brinkman orders, however ridiculous. Cindy's problem? Les is
as elusive as a ghost, he threw the book away years ago, and
he has no use for Phil Brinkman whatsoever. Unless Brinkman
is the killer they're seeking. But then it could be anybody.

"Great Page Turner"

4.0 out of 5 stars Loved it!!!!!!, September 25, 2012 - By sonja - (Amazon Verified Purchase)

"OMG, what a read. This book kept me on edge and surprised at every turn and funny too. Even though it was hard to follow some of the technical details, I
would recommend this book to any one who likes to read a good mystery, thriller and comedy rolled into one. The main characters were well developed and made
you want to know more and more about what makes them tick. The author did a great job of pulling you in and keeping you there right on the edge until the end.
Great page page-turner!! "

"The Next Patterson"

5.0 out of 5 stars "Must read list", November 29, 2011 - By Robert C. Bales (Amazon Verified Purchase)

"Riverbend captures and maintains your attention from the first chapter. I have about 30 authors on my list of "must read", including Patterson, Sanford,
Kellerman (s), Parker. Glenn Bruce is now on that list! Can't wait for the prequel and sequel that will be coming out!!"

"WAY MORE than Worth the Price"

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Good, August 19, 2012 - By Michael J. Brungs - (Amazon Verified Purchase)

While I would say that Riverbend was a BIT longer than it needed to be, I really enjoyed it. The concept was quite unique and the interaction between the two
lead characters was a riot.
Riverbend is WAY MORE than worth the price. Fun read !

"Do you like FBI Agents?"

5 out of 5 stars - Adam Beasonon October 27, 2013

Well then you're in luck. Riverbend has 'em out the wazoo. If you're a fan of the X-Files, Twin Peaks, Silence of the Lambs, or Criminal Minds, be sure to give this
book a spin. Glenn has a vivid and evocative writing style that makes you feel as though you're right there taking part in a primetime police procedural as you
read it. And at 400 pages and change you'll definitely be getting your money's worth. Just remember, the killer isn't who you think...OR IS IT?

"Let's Have More Les Moore!"

4 out of 5 stars - Dennis J. Blaskoon January 26, 2014
This was my first for the "hard-bitten detective" genre… Enjoyed ALL the characters, even the bad guys, made me hope for more of Les Moore. Some scenes are
not for the faint of heart. But even at page 423 I was asking for more, not less. Some parts made me laugh, other parts made me hungry. The Frank Sinatra
theme explains it all. Good read. Lot of fun. Good job, Glenn Bruce.
